Life

Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.

A Message by George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

George Carlin

Moving is ain'nt easy

Hey there peeps,

Just wanna update on our move. What I can say is....its not easy. Wow! First is the packing step then to unpacking. Apart from that, we have to connect our Astro and getting all the stuff that we need for the new place.

What I can say is....Its really tiring but we are enjoying it. Oh, I just like my tenant..she is helpful and prepared all the things that a house need. Not much fuss......and yes, we have internet connection. We don't need to get tm, broadband or anything. We just connect with my hp modem via maxis...its so convenient. heeehe.

I guess that's all...we will update some pics soon...Take care and have a great weekend everyone.

House/ Condo/ Apartment hunting

Gosh! I never knew that house hunting can be so hard. There were few properties that we were interested to rent but so far our LUCK is just not at our side. When I call up, 'I'm sorry its taken already'. Aiya!..

We are looking for a place to rent around Penampang area. Tho, we would like to avoid bundusan area. My hubby said, I don't want that area....susah lah with the jam.

Luckily I start house hunting early or else last minute will be trouble for us. Looking forward to move in to a new place maybe in January or Feb until we find the right house to rent just before I give birth next year.

Oh well, just have to keep on searching. I have a condo viewing tomorrow...the only one so far I called up which is available. crossing our fingers. The rent is a bit pricey but the agent said, just painted the house, renovated and fully furnished and got aircond some more*Wow* so nice like that...However, must see juga with my own eyes...tau lah agent, pandai jak ambil hati.......The place that we really want to rent is in Hing's Tower but so far no LUCK....I guess just because my hubby friends is staying there....I'm not sure....anybody can introduce kah? will update on our house hunting progress...ggrrr.....so susah lah.....

A Blessing In Disguise

As a human being, we are all born equally and fair. We are not perfect but what we can do is make the best out of it.

Everybody struggles in life. Some are aiming to the star, some just wanna live comfortable and happy and more as we can say.

As to me, all I want is to life a simple and comfortable life. I'm not aiming very high because our priorities are to give the best as we can afford for our children future. Whatever extra that we receive, we feel blessed and great full for it.

As a young girl growing up, I was raised by my parents and grandmother with strict religion faith. My grandmother will bring me and my cousin Lisa to church each weeks without fail..My mother will make sure we pray for thanksgiving before we eat, bath and sleep. Since then, I hold on to it and I'm grateful for all the teachings. I believe, I am a woman with strong faith to my religion and will raise my children as what I've been taught.

Yes, along the way of growing up....there were mistakes done and many lessons learn. That's how we grow and become a better person. In life, I learn..I can be angry and frustrated with people but I will never hate them. Forgiving is divine, sincerity is honesty and most of all,be humble.

Did I mention about hypocrites? Two face people and and the one like to bad mouth about other people? I pity for them but I pray they will find goodness in their life. There are no use to be bother with this type of people..why? I believe that, what comes around will go around and GOD is fair to all HIS children. The more you say, the more blessings that I receives...My life will be better and your may turn miserable if you don't change.

My grandma always says, no matter whether your educate or not educate...you must bring yourself to the world with a kind heart and soul..never be jealous and always remember your background. That's what matter. If life turn out to be good for you, be grateful for all the blessing and prayers. Find peace in heart and your life will be peace.

If life just don't turn as you wish....be grateful still, why? You never know what plan GOD has for you.......I believe, good things will happen to good people because they don't ask more but just being thankful. That is a BLESSING IN DISGUISE.

Love life to the fullest......

oh ya...I have one sermon given by Father Jesery that I love to share ; Kita di dunia ini bukan mengumpul harta kerana harta bukan boleh dibawa masuk kubur tetapi kita mencari doa dan kesedian rohani bila kita berjumpa dengan TUHAN kita.

I always keep that in my mind as a reminder. A reminder that I must prepare for me, my family, my friends, my children and everyone around us. We don't pray for only ourselves but pray for others who needs it....

No matter how bad is our situation or problem, we remind ourselves that there are even worst situation and problems then ours. We just pray and surely you will find a solution out of it.....God works in his miracle ways..........surprise!

I remind me myself.....be grateful.....
