House Renovation

OH GOSH!!!!!!! thats my exact word........

I did'nt know that renovating a house can be such a HEADACHE. Planning for the new positions, having disagreement with my so loving hubby and contractor, negotiating on the time frame and such.

However, my so loving Hubby let me have the final say ( yahoo, lucky me) and the contractor is my hubby's friend and my senior from school...Laaaalaaalaa..so, it made the work easier for me and Hubby.

Hubby keep on reminding me, don't go over board with the house details and please stick to the budget...as we won't be staying here forever. Its just for time being until we manage to raise the fund for our retirement house (maybe there I can go crazy with all the details but I want to be a small house)

So far, we had finalize and waiting for the interior design before they start destroying and pilling for the extention. The new position for all for 4 bedrooms, washroom, dining room, living room and my fav the kitchen.

I just can't wait to post some pic of the house in progress. Moving in by September and no more rent to pay at last.....Wah, a little by little and a step at a time....everything finally goes as planned...SWEET..

Till then......xoxoxo

Marriege

MARRIAGE

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce.

She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning.. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions.. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully..

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead.. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

A CHRIST-CENTERED MARRIAGE IS A MARRIAGE THAT IS SURE TO LAST A LIFETIME.

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Matthew 19:6

The Needy and the Greedy or The UN necesseries

Hey peeps.....

This is gonna be another long and boring entry...Lol...so be prepared whoever is reading this. This is also a repetative entry that I've been blogging about......wanna be debt free~~~~~dreaming for now.g

I like blog hoping and read other peoples adventures. Learn about places that others went to visit or so. I like looking at pictures too in FB....all the nice places to visit and adventure.....

Like many others, I love to travel if there is an opportunity but Un fortunately I don't have that time nor money to spend on...Lol. All I can do is dream but its not wrong right?

I would ask my hubby, can I go to KL and meet my best friend an maybe do a little shopping? My hubby will reply, yes you CAN B. I would smile in delight as I know i can go BUT the excitement  would only last for awhile because I will end up not wanting to go. Haaaahaa. I wouldl feel bad because I will leave the children and surely I will miss them so much. Apart from that, I am afraid that I will dissapoint my hubby even tho he gave me the green light. Lol. Hubby will ask, when your going to KL? I will go like...cancel...I don't feel like going and the thrill is no more there...then we would laugh. My hubby would know whats in my mind. However, he would be nice by getting my nice things in exchange even tho I don't ask for it....lucky me.

Actually, We have this  3 years plan ahead. We would love our loans for our kasigui house, our mamut villa and cars to be all paid off by end 2012. Apart from that, each our children would have 50K( the more the better I hope) in saving. It sound hard to achieve but if we really concerntrate on our vision, maybe we would eventually achieve it. The longest time would be end of 2013....Meaning, no travelling, less shopping and so on.

Hubby would always said to me, it would be great if everything are all paid off and we do not need to worry about debts anymore. All our children future are secured. After that, we can do anything that we have been dreaming  and maybe build our last small kg house ( or we would say our retirement house); where we can plant veges. I would laugh at that each time he brings it up...( I would imagine that moent and smile). When we come back from travelling, we do not need to worry about debts to pay off house loans and so. Lol. I would always smile when he tells me  of his plans for our future. My Hubby would always remind me....We are the needy one. We work and get money for the necessary one only for now...we do not need to be greedy. Being greedy will not take you no where after all. I think that is well said from my Hubby. Stepping on ground rather then flying off to cloud nine...Haaaahaaa.

So, I will not think of travelling and so on for now. I want to implement the dream that my Hubby sets for us. It is for our own good. After all, everything will go to our children. That is more important right? Children are the heart to our soul, wihout them...we would not be here where we are standing now.....

I am dreaming off a life where life will be lighter and free. A life where my family can enjoy rather then thinking of a 30 years loan to be paid ahead. Everything is worth to be sacrifice for the children.

Hubby too will celebrate our 10 years wedding anniversary that I would be looking forward to...Haaahaa. Hubby said it will be our DREAM wedding where we can renew our vows(that would be romantic) with very super close family and friends.

As for now, I will keep on doing what I like..looking at pictures and enjoy blog hopping. I would learn a lot from there. WHo knows, 5 years from now...I will be on smile travelling with my hubby and children...

Chiao from me.....xoxoxo

My Dreams

I have been thinking? What will life be 10 years from now????I will be 39 years at that time. My kids will be all grown up and don't know what else...LOL...

10 years from now, I do hope some of our dreams do come true.......it start with a dream, a bit of imagination and hard work...I am sure those dreams will come true.

As for now, we are trying our best to make those dreams come true one by one...one step at a time.

As for these year, we are hoping to move in to our own house. Hoping before end of the year. I don't want so many of complicated renovation or so...All I want it to be liveable and comfortable...A home and not a house. We do not want to waste more money on house rental. Its a waste that we need to pay rental for a house that do not belong to us.

Apart from that, I am going to be so relief that by next year...my prado will  be belong to me and not the bank...Habis bayar at last........I just can't wait. By next year, we only need to pay our vacation home in Ranau. We want to be debt free 10 years from now.....

Another 5 years from now, its gonna be our 10th years wedding anniversary too. This year, we will be our 5th wedding anniversary. Nothing fancy or anything but we do hope to get away for quiete time. Our 1st honeymoon maybe..lol. We do not plan to go anywhere far tho, mayb some place that we both agreed on. On an island and maybe great diving..planning around lankayan, kapalai or maybe mabul but everything arent sure yet with My hubby's working schedule, anything can happen. We just wait and see. We do plan renew our vows on the 10th anniversary. It was my hubby's idea. However, its just a plan and anything can happens.

We do hope to have enough or maybe more then enough savings for our childrens educations. We hope to provide and they will be able to achieve their dreams. We our kids to be good children with a kind heart and successfull indeed. We want them to be a good role model to one another.

As for now, I am concerntrating on the house renovations and crossing fingers that we will move in by as soon as possible....till then......cheers

my 1st 2010 entry and my great 2009

Hey ya all Peeps....

Happy New Year to you all.....I hope its not too late. Its the 14th day of our year....so much looking forward and taking everyday one time at a time.....

Leah will turn 4 years, Leevan will turn 2 years and my baby Lana will turn  1....my precious babies are growing up so fast. in fact, too fast......i am literally trying my best not to miss any special moments in thier life. They are my miracles.....

Year 2010 had just started and there are so many events happening here and there too...busy attending and enjoying it.

However, 2009 had been a great year to me too.......let me jot down few highlights.

I gave birth to my baby Lana.....that one is a forever keep for me. My Leevan started talking...so sweet bah minbolotok.....went for holiday here and there locally. Moved to another rented house and the best was I got a house Villa in Mamut for my Christmas present from my hubby...xoxox Oh, I started excercising seriously but became so lazy in November and December 2009...haaahaa. too many makan2 bah..

Talking about resolution, not that many i've listed; knowing my condition...pregnant at that time, my situation won't allow me with an infact and toddler that needs their mummy so much...my goals are just to spend more time with them...be there for my babies. oh, I did excercise and lost some of those baby weight...lol.

I guess not much for my 2009 because my babies are still little. I'll wait them to be older so that I can bring them along for holidays later......once financially secured at that time....

Anyhow, still was a great year for me....and I hope 2010 will be a fabolous year ahead too ;p Kids are growing up fast and its going to be our 5th year wedding anniversary too...This year, I aim to lost all those baby weights and tone those mucles..heeeeehe, have more saving, hoping to move in our own house and have our 1st honeymoon at last.

till my next post.....love u all...
